Politics as usual in this presidential race but it has far-reaching side effects! Let me say that I’ve always voted or at least as far back as I can remember have voted but this time, I really don’t want to. Before you say to me what I’ve said to others for years I know. I know. And not just because I’m a psychic and medium. Voting is an American right which I thank God and our forefathers for.
I’m not a Republican nor am I a Democrat and I’m very proud of voting for the man or woman I think best for our country. That hasn’t happened for a long time. I’ve voted for the lessor of the two evils the last few elections. And, I’ve watched our country get angrier by the minute. I know it’s because we all feel as if we have no control.
My Facebook page is something I hardly want to look at anymore because of all the anger. Both Republicans and Democrats call anyone who doesn’t vote for their candidate stupid and some much more graphic names. I’ve started to unfriend or at least silence all those on my page doing that because voting is an American right no matter whom you vote for.
I’ve said it before and it bears repeating once again. Both parties need to watch how they criticize the other because they’ll find themselves under the same circumstances as the party they hate. Yes Bill Clinton had an affair in the Whitehouse and yes Donald Trump could watch his words and temper a little better. What I believe is that like lawyers everywhere once out of court they go have drinks and play golf together instead of acting as if they hate each other as they do in front of clients and the court.
But guess who doesn’t get over it. We the people don’t. We stew and grouch around making life harder for ourselves when life goes on as it did before the election because Congress didn’t get what they should have. There’s where we should start over. Each one of the houses in Congress should have term limits just as the president does. That would solve a lot of problems but we only look at the one we think is running the country, the figurehead. The President can do very little.
But back to voting. It’s hard but for the first time in eons I think I’ll stay home on this one. Both scare the begebbers out of me. Looking into the future as a psychic and a medium I’m worried.
